Work
I’ve now worked in Heder Bank as a CXO (Chief Experience Officer) and Interim CTO for around 100 days. In short time we’ve:
- Launched a new website
- Filled up a wait-list
- Issued our first mortgage with a manual solution
- Started designing an automated mortgage process. It’s a busy journey building a bank from scratch! Navigating the fog of war between customer needs and technical constraints while wearing multiple hats is exhilarating - exactly the kind of startup design challenge where speed and versatility shine brightest.
Side Projects
- Diving into my new work role doesn’t leave much room for side projects. It however means that I’m writing more than I’ve done over the last years which excites me.
- Last spring, I rolled out Pie Menu, a radial menu tailor-made for macOS apps. I’m now considering selling it since I don’t have the time to focus as much on the project as it deserves.
- I’m also dabbling with one other small project when I have the time. I’ll probably share more here soon!
Family
The newest in our family lineup is now nine months! She is delightful and smiles a lot, and is now mastering crawling and standing up against objects.
Health
Health is currently in maintenance mode with a “new job” and 3 girls under 7. The goal is to get 3 good workouts a week and move a lot during the day. Luckily i have a home gym which makes it easier.
